Hashem appears to Avraham after he had done the bris mila, teaching us about visiting the sick. Rabbi Akiva visited his student, when he was sick, swept the floor and cared for him, this saves a life, reducing a persons anguish and loneliness in their difficulty, giving them hope, and the possibility of getting better. When the sick are consistently told all worst case scenarios, they often lose hope. This reverses it.

Why was Avraham so far out in the desert? If he wanted to teach the world about Hashem, wouldnt the city have been better. But like all people of truth, almost noone wanted to hear it. Though they called him the prince, acknowledging his role. But they made sure he was far far away so they wouldn't have to think too much about his message of one G-d, and that you matter to Him, and your actions matter, and most of all , He is rooting for you. The bris Mila represented mastery over the self, elevating your every day actions with meaning, seeing Him a part of yourself.

Avimelech comes to make a Bris with Avraham, and Avraham speaks of Kel Olam. The Ramban and RAv Hirsch say Avimelech realized Avraham would turn into a great nation. That his message would resound around the world. Olam represents what is currently hidden and will be revealed over time. Avimelech wanted to get in early, because he saw where Avraham and his message for the world was going.

We , his children experienced the worst murderous rage and rampage since the holocaust with the onslaught of Oct 7th Simchas Tora. We went to fight evil, and almost the entire world turned against us. Whether we remember or not, act upon it , or not, we carry the same message. There is one Hashem, He is here, your actions matter, and most of all he is rooting for you as shown by us to Him as self mastery, represented by Bris Mila. All the advisors, angels and souls saw only the likely outcome of untrained unbridled life desire, the likelihood of failure. and Hashem said, We will make man.. Together, you and I.
